Strategic Initiatives Manager, Global Sustainability

Holli Alexander Hoosier by birth who has landed in Tennessee. She has a bachelor's and master's degree from Indiana University. Holli enjoys focusing on identifying and understanding problems and crafting plans to fix them. This passion has materialized itself into the work she has produced throughout her career at Eastman. Since joining Eastman in 2005, she has worked in multiple roles in the sales and marketing organizations, most specializing in sustainability trends and issues. In 2012, Holli launched and led the Full-Wrap Label Consortium, a group founded by Eastman that is focused on addressing the challenges around recovering PET bottles that use shrink labels. Following her passion for sustainability, Holli joined Eastman's Global Sustainability Organization in 2016 as a Strategic Initiatives Manager where she helps to translate the complexity of sustainability into tangible and actionable efforts for Eastman businesses and functions.

This session looks at how material suppliers are exploring the possibility of vertical integration by adding a recycling component to their traditional virgin material supply chains. This session examines the commitments chemical companies are making and the partnerships they have embarked on to assist them in reaching their goals to expand portfolios and offer commercial grades of recycled resins.
